About the role

At Comodule we have 4 independent business units, one of them, manufacturing. As a Chief Production Officer, you will act as a Business Unit Lead at Comodule Group and will be taking care of our Co-Factory, supply chain and production quality. You will be part of the Comodule leadership team and report directly to the CEO and co-founder Kristjan.

You will make your budget and planning and be responsible for making it happen. You will take care of the production profitability and efficiency, develop and implement KPIs and reporting systems. You will also drive the development projects and manage the expansions of the plant according to the business needs and opportunities.

You will also lead the manufacturing team consisting of subteams like Supply Chain and Production team (incl. Assembly, SMA and Industrial Engineering) and take care of growing and developing it.

About you

Are you a natural business person? A leader? Does production make your heart beat faster?

You will be a great fit if you already have previous experience in leading a production, incl. leading people, finances and processes. Ensuring production efficiency and keeping our people happy and motivated is the most important for us!

In the Chief Production Officer position, you will find it useful to have knowledge of production systems (ERP) and standards, and an extra big bonus for previous experience in electronics or mechanics!

As our factory is young and the company rapidly growing, you should be able to prioritise tasks in a constantly changing environment, sometimes not even on a daily but hourly basis while keeping your can-do attitude.

Comodule is making more people enjoy riding an electric bicycle or kick scooter. We are developing IoT solutions for shared mobility operators and bicycle manufacturers to reduce global environmental pollution and traffic congestion. Since 2014 Comodule has connected over 450,000 light electric vehicles to the internet and has helped to launch shared fleets in 60 cities around the globe.

In spring 2020 we launched our own in-house developed and assembled kick-scooters and a fleet called Tuul. Tuul is the only kick-scooter fleet operations company with full control over its development, production, and service management.

In spring 2021 we launched Äike, an end-consumer brand, which vision starts with our promise to create the world’s most durable & rider-friendly e-scooter without abusing the planet’s resources in the process – something we can proudly say we have already achieved but will keep improving!
